About Klesira
We started Klesira because we saw a gap: early-stage biotech startups with brilliant ideas but without the broad scientific expertise to guide their R&D.
Our Story
We founded Klesira after seeing too many biotech startups struggle for the same reason: deep in one area of expertise, but inevitably stretched thin as their programmes advance into new scientific territory.
As a result, teams either burn runway on expensive CROs to hit their timelines, or preserve it by upskilling internally and losing momentum in the process. Either way, a persistent gap opens up between scientific ambition and execution.
We built Klesira to be the bridge. By connecting startups with Oxbridge-trained scientists on a flexible, by-the-hour basis, we give early-stage companies access to the kind of scientific guidance that was previously only available to late-stage startups or established companies.
